If you're visiting for the music, San Vicente del Raspeig is a very practical base. Nearby you'll find venues such as Sala The One, with live concerts, parties and DJ sets, and the Multiespacio Rabasa / Área 12, where major events and festivals are held — including Spring Festival, Rocanrola, summer concert series and large-scale music events. Hogueras
de San Juan.

Staying near Alicante during the Hogueras lets you experience one of the city's most intense festivals and return afterwards to rest in relative peace. During those days, Alicante fills with monuments, barracas, street parades, fireworks, music and a lively atmosphere. The noon mascletàs in Plaza de los Luceros, the fireworks displays, the plantà and the cremà transform the city into an experience unlike any other time of year. The Hogueras are officially celebrated from the 20th to the 24th of June and are one of Alicante's great festive symbols.
